Buğdayda Fenolojiye Göre Doğru Besleme Stratejileri
Buğday yetiştiriciliğinde yüksek verim ve kaliteli dane elde etmenin temel şartı, besleme uygulamalarının bitkinin fenolojik gelişim dönemlerine göre planlanmasıdır. Bitkinin ihtiyaç duyduğu besin elementleri, çimlenmeden dane dolumuna kadar her dönemde farklılık gösterir. Bu nedenle tek tip gübreleme programları, çoğu zaman beklenen sonucu vermez.
Çimlenme ve çıkış döneminde (Z00–19), bitkinin kök sistemini hızla oluşturması ve sağlıklı bir başlangıç yapması hedeflenir. Bu aşamada fosfor ön plandadır. Fosfor, kök gelişimini teşvik eder ve bitkinin erken dönemde toprağa daha iyi tutunmasını sağlar. Fosfor eksikliği, ilerleyen dönemlerde telafisi zor gelişim geriliklerine neden olabilir.
Kardeşlenme dönemi (Z21–29), buğdayda verimi doğrudan belirleyen en kritik evrelerden biridir. Metrekarede oluşan kardeş sayısı, ileride oluşacak başak sayısının temelini oluşturur. Bu dönemde azot ve çinko birlikte değerlendirilmelidir. Azot kardeşlenmeyi desteklerken, çinko hücre bölünmesi ve hormon dengesinde rol oynar. Çinko eksikliği olan alanlarda azot uygulamaları dahi beklenen etkiyi göstermez.
Sapa kalkma döneminde (Z30–39), bitki hızla boylanır ve dokular yoğun şekilde gelişir. Bu aşamada azot ihtiyacı devam ederken, kalsiyum ve magnezyum gibi elementler hücre duvarı dayanımı ve fotosentez verimliliği açısından önem kazanır. Dengesiz azot uygulamaları bu dönemde yatma riskini artırabilir.
Başaklanma ve çiçeklenme döneminde (Z50–69) bitki artık verimi şekillendirmektedir. Bu aşamada besin dengesinin korunması esastır. Aşırı veya geç azot uygulamaları kaliteyi olumsuz etkileyebilir.
Dane dolum döneminde (Z71–79) ise potasyum ön plana çıkar. Potasyum, karbonhidrat taşınımı ve dane dolumunun düzgün gerçekleşmesi için kritik bir rol oynar. Bu dönemde yapılan doğru potasyum yönetimi, bin dane ağırlığı ve kalite üzerinde belirleyici olur.
